Journalism Career
I graduated SUNY New Paltz with a minor in Journalism, but my interest in Journalism began in high school where I wrote for and eventually became Editor of my school newspaper, Tiger Clause. I focus heavily on feature writing as well as multimedia journalism. As a journalism minor I was able to both write for and edit for New Paltz's online publication, The Little Rebellion. I also had a semester long internship with the New Paltz Athletic and Wellness Center, where I was a Club Sports Intern and wrote articles on a bi-weekly schedule on the variety of club sport options New Paltz has.
Below are a few of the articles I've written. To see all articles on The Little Rebellion, click here. To see all articles for NP Hawks, click here.

Men's Rugby St. Baldrick'sWhen you think of rugby, one typically thinks of violence and brutality. But even though the New Paltz Men’s Rugby Football Club (NPRFC) plays such a violent sport – it doesn’t mean they don’t have a soft and caring attitude as well.
This was shown on March 31 when the team hosted its annual St. Baldrick’s fundraiser, all while showing solidarity by shaving their heads as well. |
Chests for BreastsThis past Saturday October 17, the Powerlifting Club held a walk-a-thon inspired fundraiser in which participants were sponsored by others to bench press as many reps as possible to failure in order to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.
